     A little about Huahuastar history before you view the Pekingese and Yorkshire Terrier that we have at our kennel. Our kennel prefix "HUAHUASTAR" was established in 1995. We have breed and shown Chihuahua, Toy Poodle, Shih Tzu and Yorkshire Terrier under the Huahuastar prefix in the past. All the while we are very fascinated about the Pekingese breed.

      About 4 years ago, we saw Australian Champion Miyoko Alexander Moon - "Jack" a cream fawn black mask with a beautiful expression and conformation at a MKA Dog Show and we were completely thrilled by him! We never thought that could be a most beautiful thing in the world..... To say the least, We have always loved this ancient breed.  

      One of our greatest emotions is when the owner decided to sell us that dog. "Jack" was the Top Toy Dog 2002 in Australia, with many awards including Multiple Best In Group, Class In Show, Class In Group and Best Of Breed winners. We show Jack and he completed his Malaysia Championship too. So now Jack is happily living in our  home and sharing our bed. Because of Jack we are totally hooked. We started Pekingese by importing a few Australian Champions from Australia and started showing them. That is how the Pekingese got started in  Huahuastar kennel. Due to my sister's health problem 3 years ago, we have to slow down. We are only keeping the Pekingese and Yorkshire Terrier now.

      Huahuastar, the home of Pekingese and Yorkshire Terrier is situated  in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are totally dedicated to the breeding and exhibition of structurally sound, healthy and beautiful Pekingese and Yorkshire Terrier. After 13 years of showing, we have titled 37 Malaysian Champions and that includes  2 Asian Champions and 1 Malaysian Grand Champion - the first and only Yorkshire Terrier in Malaysia to achieve this status. We are honoured with many awards including Class in Show, Best in Group, Class in Group and Best of Breed.  We have breed and have had many successes in the show ring with our Huahuastar prefix.

       We breed for conformation and temperament. Our main aim are to breed and produce happy and healthy Pekingese and Yorkshire Terrier which we can be proud to display in the show ring. Pekingese and Yorkshire Terrier are our life and our passion - an absorbing, fascinating and totally wonderful breeds. Our dogs are all MKA registered.
